Hi, I’m Colleen.
The copywriter.
Prior to founding Create Copy, I worked as a qualified painter and decorator, ran a commercial fishing business for years before selling for a profit, and graduated with a degree in Education from Macquarie University.
My ‘hands on’ experience spans trade, construction and successful business ownership. I’ve held consumer and customer marketing roles, sales and training roles and management roles at Dulux, a well-known and trusted company here in Australia.
Along the way, I’ve worked voluntarily for school parent organisations, sporting clubs and my parish church holding positions such as president, treasurer and council member.
All of these roles had one important thing in common. They each required persuasive communication and copy that both informed and compelled a targeted audience to take action. Writing all types of effective copy and content has been part of my remit for decades.
I choose now to help others like you create likewise for your business.
This is Bert.
Bert’s a Siamese Fighting Fish.
Bert isn’t tough, but he’s a great mascot and diversion. Bert lives harmoniously with other fish in his community tank. He’s patient of overexcited neighbours who swim into his domain, and he’s often seen frolicking in the bubbles as they rise to the surface.
Aside from his good looks, Bert’s only real talent is keeping me amused when I take a break.
